Thanks a Bunch

I'm deep into preparations for going away next week to Convention in Salt Lake City. I have some large orders coming in the next week that need to be sorted and delivered, and I never send out an order without a thank you card in it! They are usually fairly simple to make and note card sized, but they still look great and convey my gratitude for the order.

In keeping with yesterday's post using the Market Fresh stamp set, I used the same set to create these four cuties with a variety of background Designer Series Paper and card bases.

  • The background DSP comes from both the Farmer's Market collection and the Bohemian series. The gingham is all from the Farmer's Market.
  • I used the cross-hatch stamp from You've Got This stamp set inked up in Old Olive and stamped off once for the texture behind the bunch of grapes. I love this stamp because it's so versatile - it can be used in so many different situations!
  • Yesterday, I showed you the lettuce stamp from Market Fresh. Today it's the bunch of grapes, with it's own play on words, "Thanks a Bunch"! It's perfect for these customer thank you cards, especially since here in the Okanagan, we live in wine country! In fact, I think I've mentioned before that one of my customers has a large vineyard, and we often hold our classes on her deck overlooking the grape vines. It's such a beautiful setting!
  • The combination of Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White is just right for bunches of grapes. The cotton ribbon (and one of the background papers) adds some Rich Razzleberry to the mix, but they are all "shades of wine" so it works well.

I wanted to explain more clearly what is happening during July until August 3, with the Weekly Deals. Stampin' Up! is adding more and bigger deals each Tuesday, but some of these deals have limited supplies available at the sale price. Once that limit has been reached, that item will be removed from the Weekly Deals page, but will still be available at regular retail price. I have seen how fast these special deals sell out, so if you are interested in any this week, let me know right away and I will put in a special order tonight or tomorrow.

Here are this week's Weekly Deals:
