My Favourite Stampin' Up! Colour Combination

Ever since the introduction of the new 2015-2017 In Colours by Stampin' Up!, I have a new favourite colour combination! It's Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder along with Whisper White.

Watermelon Wonder               Tip Top Taupe             Whisper White

When I had to make some more Thank You Cards for customers, I didn't even think about it, I just got out these colours right away.  I think I like it because it has an almost Asian flavour to it, but Watermelon Wonder is just such a warm colour, it would add that warmth to any colours you used.

These little 3" x 3" cards almost made themselves, it was so quick and easy, but I really like how they turned out. With the Awesomely Artistic dragonfly, and the One Big Meaning sentiment, it created a quick and cute mini-thank you card that would be great for any occasion where you have a lot of Thank You cards to make at once.

  • I love the dragonfly stamped in Watermelon Wonder. I know dragonflies are usually blue and green, but I think they should be this colour, don't you? I did stamp them off once to make the colour less intense so you could see the sentiment stamped over it. This image is from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set.
  • If you want a great Thank You set of sentiments, I highly recommend One Big Meaning. It says thanks in 7 different ways and each with a different amazing font! I use it all the time!
  • The script design behind is from the 2015 - 17 In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack, which gives you 40 sheets: 4 sheets in each of 2 designs in all five colours. It's a great deal. I used the 2 1/2" Circle punch to get the circles of the background paper and the 2" Circle punch for the the image and sentiment.

By the way, I've updated my Retired Products Inventories with items from last year's Holiday Catalogue.  Check them out here.

Enjoy your Monday and I'll be back tomorrow with a little something from the Reason for The Season Bundle!
