Number of Years for Colour Throwdown

I've been enjoying playing with my new Occasions catalogue stuff and yesterday, I got out my Number of Years stamp set and the coordinating Large Number Framelits and set out to make a couple of birthday cards. I also came across a colour swatch I really liked from the Color Throwdown Challenge site: (I love their new banner, too!)

With all these in hand, I worked on a very special birthday card!

In less than a week, this young fellow will be celebrating his fourth birthday! Wow! Those four years just flew by. Parker is my oldest grandson and he is a true delight. When I go to visit, it's non-stop make-believe from morning to night and he carries it all. I just have to be present and do what he says! He astounds me with the depth of his understanding of subjects he is passionate about. And his laugh brings joy to my soul! When we were there at Christmas time, he became interested in a robot called Asimo that he saw in a video his Gramps showed him, so I dug out the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set and here is what I came up with:

Just a reminder that you can now order from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue. Let me know if you would like a copy. As well, Sale-A-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotion of the year, has begun. For every $60* you spend, you can choose a Sale-A-Bration reward from the brochure, and they are well-worth earning this year! (More about Sale-A-Bration here.)

*before tax and shipping

It's a good time to remind you that each of my customers, who spends enough to earn at least one SAB reward during Sale-A-Bration until March 31, will receive an invitation to attend my exclusive Celebrate Sale-A-Bration event in April, where there are even more rewards and fun to be had. You don't want to miss that event!
