All About Everything for the Pals

Ya gotta love Paper Pumpkin! Just when you think that the projects couldn't get any cuter, they come out with one like this:

And not only that, but because they were celebrating their two year anniversary and their millionth kit shipped out, they gave all the current subscribers a great gift in their April Subscription:

A bonus, exclusive stamp set called All About Everything!

I haven't had a chance to get it inked up so I thought I would use it for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week - a sweet colour challenge:

It's a very versatile set with a variety of sentiments and the great flower and leaf images. Here's how it looks in Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz and Gold:

  • I stamped three of the larger flowers and 2 of the stalk-type flowers in Versamark ink, covered them with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool. Then I added more of  the same flowers in Pink Pirouette. What's cool is that you don't have to mask the flowers to layer them and give them depth because the embossed areas resist the ink and do the masking for you.
  • I wasn't sure what to do with the rather large hole in the middle of the flowers. I didn't really see a center stamp, so I got out my virgin Garden in Bloom stamp set and used one of those images for the center. Later, I found out that you use one of the tiny texture stamps as the flower middles, but...too late! Besides, I like the one I chose.
  • I did one version of this card with stems and leaves, but it was just too busy and cluttered and I elected to do without them for the final product.
  • The sentiments are split in two so that you can use one inside the card, but I stamped both parts of this phrase on the front. The top word, "Everything", I stamped on Whisper White cardstock and die cut it with this shape from the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits, which are NOT retiring! Hallelujah! I use these so often for my longer sentiments. I die cut the same shape in Pear Pizzazz and mounted it offset under the Whisper White shape for definition and depth. The other half is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink at the bottom.
