More Sharing What You Love

I had a great time playing with the early release products from the Share What You Love suite this past week and I wanted to share another sample I made for my classes. This one featured flowers fussy cut from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper itself, those beautiful pearlized doilies and the Lovely Floral Dynamic Embossing Folder. It's a fairly simple layout, but it has all kinds of charm with these beautiful new products!

• I tried to keep this photo on the darker side so you would have enough shadow contrast to see the dry embossed image on the Whisper White cardstock from the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder. To get the embossed image in the upper right hand corner of the front panel, you have to ensure that the cardstock is facing the right way in the embossing folder. I located the top right corner of the cardstock piece at the top right of the actual embossed image in the folder (faced with the Sizzix symbol up) not at the top of the folder itself. I hope that makes sense. Don't forget that you only need one cutting plate on the top with the Dynamic embossing folders, otherwise they are too thick to go through the Big Shot with both cutting plates in place.
• I cut two of the large pearlized flowers, one of the round flowers with foliage and a clump of three or four small green flowers from the Share What You Love DSP. These were arranged tastefully on the pearlized doily after the doily was trimmed to match the edge of the Whisper White panel.
• A cute bow of new Mint Macaron twine from the Nature's Twine* pack was perched in the middle. Some Tranquil Tide pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls completed the look.
• The sentiment, from the Love What You Do stamp set, is stamped in Tranquil Tide ink.
