My Favourites from the January - June Mini Catalogue - Parisian Blossoms Suite

I thought, as I had introduced most of the products to you, that I would now take the chance to go back over some of my favourite suites and products from the 2020 January - June Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue and really enjoy using them again for my own pleasure!

And my first favourite has to be the Parisian Blossoms Suite. I don't know why, but I've always been a sucker for the Eiffel Tower. Maybe my own trip to Paris and the rest of Europe when I was a young adult stands out for me as such a romantic and adventurous interlude in my own life, that the Eiffel Tower has come to signify that event for me. I don't know, but I just love any stamps or dies with that image. And when you add flowy French script and champagne, black and pink colours, and throw in the cherry blossoms and flourishes - well, I'm a goner! Here's a close up of what I did with it this time:

• I actually didn't use any stamping at all on this card. It's all die cuts, from the Parisian Dies. I die cut the Eiffel Tower itself, the flourish and three of the word Amour out of Basic Black cardstock. I die cut the word Amour one more time out of Champagne Foil.
• I used the French script design from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper as a background on a Basic Black card base. It's a specialty DSP because it has the script not only in white, but also in champagne foil highlights.
• I glued all four of the word Amour together, with the Champagne Foil version on top before gluing them all to the card front, on top of the flourish.
• The final touch is a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels places strategically around the design.

This was a fairly simple card to create, but really satisfying when finished! Hope you enjoyed it.
