The Power of Hope Bundle

I'm slowly but surely working through all my new stamp sets and tools from the new Jan/Jun Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Brochure. The bundle I want to share with you today comes from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and is one of the $120 level rewards. It's called the Power of Hope Bundle and includes the Power of Hope Cling Stamp Set and the Stone 3D Embossing Folder.

Power of Hope Bundle

I used this card for my Quick & Cute class this past week and it was fun to put together. Here's a closer look:

  • I ran a piece of Gray Granite cardstock through the die cutting and embossing machine with the Stone 3D embossing folder, to get that awesome flagstone texture and mounted it on the Petal Pink card base.
  • I used the Stamparatus to position all the stamps from the Power of Hope stamp set and stamped them separately on my Whisper White cardstock image panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • I used Petal Pink and Basic Black and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combos to colour in the images, using the darkest shade of each colour first where the shadows would be, then blending it all in using the lighter shade. This panel is mounted on the card front.
  • I trimmed out 3 cherry blossoms from a piece of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper, curved the petals using my bone folder, and added them to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

How can you earn some rewards like these for yourself? There are two ways:

  • Order from me and spend $60 or more in one order and you will be able to choose a reward from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Don't wait too much longer to do this, however, as some of the rewards are already sold out!!
  • There are two levels of rewards, some for $60 orders and a few for $!20 orders.

What's New at SU Blog Hop with the Coordination Products Birthday Dies

I'm so pleased that you are joining us for our hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Our theme this month is the Coordination Products that match products in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure or the Jan/Jun Mini Catalogue. I hope you'll find some exciting ideas to help you!

The Coordination Product that I'm using for my projects today is the Birthday Dies. They coordinate with the Happy Birthday To You stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, which I also used to demonstrate. I also used some Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper in the background. Here's a closer look:

  • For the card on the right, the birthday cake image was stamped twice in Versamark on Whisper White and embossed in Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder. An Aqua Painter was then used to paint the images with Petal Pink, Smoky Slate, Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, and So Saffron inks.
  • The Birthday dies were used to die cut the whole birthday cake on one of the images and just the flowers on another of the images. In addition, the baby's breath die was used to die cut one sprig from vellum.
  • On the Smoky Slate card base, some Silver Foil, embossed with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder, was adhered and some of the Peaceful Poppies DSP in Blackberry Bliss was added after embossing the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Happy Birthday to You stamp set, in silver at the top.
  • The extra flowers were added atop the matching ones but offset a little, as shown and popped up on dimensionals. The single blossom was trimmed off and used at the bottom of the cake dish with the baby's breath on the left of it using a couple of Mini Dimensionals.

  • The box has dimensions of 2.5" x 2.5" x 3.25". It was made with a retired Gift Box Punch Board. Four panels of the same Peaceful Poppies DSP measuring 2 3/8' x 3 1/8" were added to the vertical sides of the box and one measuring 2 3/8" square was added to the top. The opening mechanism is at the bottom.
  • The cake image is embossed with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder once only this time it's coloured using So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends Combos. The flowers only are die cut and separated between the single and double flowers using the Birthday Dies. The milk jug from the Country Home stamp set was embossed in Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and coloured using Smoky Slate Stampin' Emboss Combos. Then the flowers are arranged on the top using glue dots and dimensionals, with the addition of vellum leaves and baby's breath, also die cut using the same die set.
