Beautifully Celebrated for As You See It Challenge #365

beautifully celebrated for aysi #365 1

Crazy busy and complicated week. My head is overwhelmed, both with things at home and things happening in the world. It's like someone turned the world upside down. So I don't have the bandwidth for a long blogpost today. But I wanted to bring you my card for the As You See It Challenge #365 Recipe Challenge, Rhapsody in Red, my own concoction!

Here's the banner:

challenge #365

And here's my card, incorporating all 5 elements of the recipe:

  • I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 4 1/4".
  • I added a piece of retired DSP from the Bloom Impressions set that I got from last year's Sale-A-Bration.
  • I die cut 3 circles using the Spotlight on Nature dies: the first and third on vellum and the center one on using some leftover Ombre Specialty Glimmer paper in a similar hue.
  • I heat embossed the sentiment, from the new Beautifully Celebrated stamp set, in gold on Poppy Parade cardstock and fussy cut it out. I mounted on top of the circles with Stampin' Seal and Stampin' Dimensionals on the ends.
  • I finished by tying a double finger bow from Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon, and adding to the card front with a glue dot. I also added some clear Faceted Snowflakes.
