MOJO Gratitude

As much as I'm enjoying the perfect summer we've had here in the Okanagan Valley, I find myself looking ahead to the fall and all the beautiful colours that go along with it.  We normally have gorgeous weather right through to the end of October so there are many opportunities to go for walks and bike rides and enjoy the beauty of the fall season.

Those of you who follow my blog know that I have a special affinity with the warm fall colours, so fall cardmaking is right up my alley!



With that in mind, I have an entry for  MOJO Monday Challenge #306 this week:

And here's how it evolved:

• Crisp Cantaloupe is the featured colour in this card along with Soft Suede.  I love this colour but it is so hard to do it justice in photos!
• I finally used my Daydream Medallions Stamp set again!  It's been so long, but with this result, it won't be so long until the next time!  And I die cut it with another underused set - Floral Frames Framelits!
• And coming to you straight from the new Holiday Mini:  Harvest of Thanks Stamp set,  perfect for the vintage, distressed look of this card.

• I used a variety of DSP on this one:  Venetian Romance, Birthday Basics and Neutrals Design Series Paper Stacks.
• Don't those little In Colour Boutique Details in the 2013 - 15 In Colours make your mouth water?  No seriously:  Cantaloupe, Strawberry, Brown Sugar and Pistachio?  Only Coastal Cabana is not edible, but it's delicious in its own way! lol
• And speaking of underused, I also used the Bitty Banners Framelits to die cut the little Gratitude banner!
