I've had the Merry Patterns for a while now, but haven't had the right opportunity to use it yet, so when I saw the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week, I knew the time had come! Here's the banner:
- The candles are a 4 step stamping process. There's the black outline, then the yellow flames, then two different pattern stamps to fill them in. It's pretty cool how accurately they fit together!
- I used a Stitched Shape square framelit to die cut the candle panel to add to the polaroid frame. I still love the finished look of the stitched edge.
- The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack creates a warm, rustic feel for this Christmas card. It works particularly well with Cherry Cobbler.
- A gold Year of Cheer Embellishment topped with a Regal Enamel Shape makes a great finishing touch for this design.
If you are interested in getting the Merry Patterns stamp set, you can only earn it with host rewards. My calendar for October is pretty well booked up now, but it's still possible for you to earn it with a catalogue party or an on-line party. Contact me to set something up!
