Ornamental Christmas for As You See It Challenge #363

Well, can you believe it? Our last challenge of 2025! Where has the year gone?? It seems like just yesterday we were starting the year fresh! And we're ending it the same way we started it - with a colour challenge! This one is a Neutral Colour Challenge and it was designed by our former team mate, Jane. Take a look at the challenge banner:

Some of you may not agree that Mossy Meadow and Night of Navy should be classed as neutrals, but they are in the Neutral family of colours at Stampin' Up! I decided to get out my Ornamental Christmas bundle for this card and I was happy with the results of the card it made.

  • I started with a regular card base of Night of Navy cardstock and covered that with a 4" x 5 1/4" layer of Peaceful Garden Garden cardstock in Pecan Pie design. 
  • Over that is a Basic White layer, 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Using the Ornamental Christmas dies, I die cut the circle from Night of Navy cardstock and added it to the card front as shown.
  • I stamped the skinny tree image in Mossy Meadow ink and die cut it with the coordinating Ornamental Christmas die and added it to the card front.
  • I stamped three of the star images in Night of Navy ink and die cut them using the coordinating die and added them to the tree. The top star I used a mini dimensional, and the other two I used a glue dot.
  • I used a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of each star.
  • I stamped the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink and fussy cut it out. I glued it on the card front as shown. Simple but effective. This would be a good design for mass production.
