Tag, You're It for As You See It Challenge #030
And without any big fanfare, here's my DT sample:
I wanted a springtime design and decided to use another Pinterest colour palette:
which, in Stampin' Up! lingo, became Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray.
- The Strawberry Slush panel was embossed using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, which is another exclusive Sale-A-Bration reward for a $60 purchase only available until Mar. 31, 2014, when Sale-A-Bration ends. I sponged over it in Strawberry Slush ink to highlight the design.
- The stamp set I used is called Springtime Hello and it had the perfect tiny images to use on the image panel and sentiment labels. I inked up the flowers using a Strawberry Slush Stampin' Write marker and the stem and leaves using the Smoky Slate marker.
- I created the little Pink Pirouette tag using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch from the Occasions Catalogue, and added some Design Series Paper from the Subtles Collection DSP Stack.
- The label is die-cut from Smoky Slate cardstock using the Labels Collection Framelits and the sentiment is one stamp with only half inked up each time, the "hello" is in Smoky Slate ink and the "spring" in Strawberry Slush ink.
Sale-A-Bration ends on Monday! Don't miss out on all the rewards! If you've been thinking of signing up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and turning your passion into a career, make sure you call me before Monday, because there's no better time to join our Stampin' Up! family!

Let's Get Nautical for MOJO Monday
Ahoy, Maties! When I looked at the Mojo Monday Challenge sketch it made me think of one thing only - The Sea! Well, sailing ships really and the semaphore flags that were once used to send messages from ship to ship.

Product List
Here's the Mojo Monday Challenge # 338 sketch:
So avast and belay, me hearties! Here's my version:
- Using a nautical palette of Pacific Point, Summer Starfruit, Real Red and Whisper White, I created a design for the sea lovers and anyone who likes the romance of the sea.
- The angles of the design are totally like those found on the spars and sheets and sails on a sailboat. I added some Summer Starfruit Striped Grosgrain ribbon on the side of the angled piece to add some more vertical lines.
- The little banners were cut out of cardstock using the Banner Punch which is only available for a few more days during Sale-A-Bration. Quick, easy and fun!
- The ship and world map is from The Open Sea stamp set. The world map is stamped in Smoky Slate and the ship in Pacific Point. It was punched using the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, a staple for every stamper's craft room! I used a Starburst circle die-cut in Real Red for the matte.
- The sentiment is from the Hello, Sailor stamp set stamped in Real Red ink and even the Whisper White flag has a little flag on it!
Thanks for dropping by today and Bon Voyage!

Petal Parade of Mini Thank You Cards
One thing I really like to do is to design the little three by three mini thank you cards that I include in all my customers' orders! I have such a good time with that small space. This month, I decided to use one of the Sale-A-Bration Stamp sets, Petal Parade, and some of the Sale-A-Bration DSP, Sweet Sorbet, in the design.
- I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the colour palette of the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. I especially like the Summer Starfruit, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party and Sahara Sand combination that I've used here.
- At first I didn't like the flower images on Petal Parade, but now that I've used them together, I think that they work really well together, and when you use them all, you can create what looks like your own Designer Series paper!
- The card bases are all 3" x 6" pieces of Summer Starfruit, scored and folded at 3". Some have a middle panel of 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" Sweet Sorbet DSP. Others have the same sized pieces of Sahara Sand polka dotted paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.
- I stamped the images from Petal Parade in Pool Party, Summer Starfruit and Crisp Cantaloupe on Whisper White cardstock.
- The sentiment from Lots of Thanks stamp set is stamped in Sahara Sand.
- I added a Pool Party Candy Dot from the Subtles Collection, and a Tangerine Tango Candy Dot from the Brights Collection. ( There are no Candy Dots in Crisp Cantaloupe.)
- Not sure which of the two designs I like the best, but the Sahara Sand DSP gives much better contrast to the card.
- These mini cards make great gift acknowledgements, or you can whip one up to thank a friend who has done you a favour.
