Neutral Noel Suite for As You See It Challenge #382

It's a Fill In the Blank Challenge from As You See It Challenges this week and the blank is all about how many Christmas Cards you've made so far this year. My answer is a bit shocking, I'm afraid... this is my first one!!

But the Neutral Noel Suite from Stampin' Up! made it a lot of fun! This suite caught my eye right off the bat in the Sept/Dec Mini Catalogue! The suite's colours are all from the Neutral Colour family! And they work so well together! And this Suite also has two Bundles with it: Noel Tidings Bundle with lots of greenery; and Welcome Noel Bundle with homes and trees and decor! It also has some foil DSP, Neutral Noel, and a beautiful Embossing Folder, Softly Woven, four colours of jute, and gold dots embellishments! I used it all! Thanks to our clever Joanne for coming up with this great challenge!

• I started with a regular cardbase of Pecan Pie cardstock, cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" on the long side.
• I added a layer of the Neutral Noel Specialty DSP, cut at 5 1/4" x 4", followed by another layer of Pecan Pie cardstock, cut at 5" x 3 3/4".
• Using the Noel Tidings dies, I die cut the ovoid shape from Very Vanilla cardstock and ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing folder.
• I also die cut the middle-sized house and a deer from Early Espresso cardstock and a large tree and a wreath from Mossy Meadow cardstock. I arranged and adhered those on the ovoid shape using Tombo glue.
• I stamped the larger fir branches (3), berries (6 bunches) and 4 branches in Pecan Pie
• . I die cut them all with the Noel Tidings Dies and assembled and glued them, or used glue dots to arrange them behind the ovoid shape.
• I used Tombo Glue to adhere the Ovoid shape to the card front.
• I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on Very Vanilla and die cut it with the banner die from the Noel Tidings dies. I adhered the banner using Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Finally, I added a bow, made from the Neutrals Jute Combo Pack, and some Gold Adhesive Backed Dots.
