Perpetual Birthday Calendar Project Kit for Birthday Stamper's Dozen

This is going to be a very quick post due to the fact that yesterday, my youngest daughter gave birth to a 9 lb. 3 oz. baby boy named Jackson Walter, five days early!! Today is my birthday, so it was the most awesome birthday present ever! I did not sleep a wink Wednesday night so I didn't have the energy or the time to take on the As You See It Challenge this week. I spent a good part of the day in the maternity ward and at home, snuggling my new little grandson!!

He is a good-sized baby and is, so far, a good eater. We're all a little tired around my house. I kept falling asleep as I typed this post. So I knew it would be impossible to wrap my mind around the As You See It Challenge #070 this week.  But you could play... just follow the link!

Instead, I thought I would share a unique project with you from Stampin' Up! It is the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Project Kit. I am planning on including this kit as an option for those coming to my January Birthday Stamper's Dozen. If you want to make one of these calendars and never lose track of family's and friends' birthdays again, you will come early to the Birthday Stamper's Dozen in January!

The various pages clip onto this clipboard and you can change the month by moving it to the front. There is also a nice box that comes with it in case you want to give it as a gift.  You will want to have the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set to help create these pages as well.  I will show you what I did with each month's page in the next few photos:

I started out following the instructions, but it wasn't long before I was winging it with my own designs, using the accessories Stampin' Up! provides and others of my own.

If you are interested in making one of these on Saturday, Jan. 31, please contact me before January 21 so I can have the right number of projects ordered in time.
