August Online Technique Class

This month we are going Holiday style, with the new Aug/Dec Mini catalogue already online and we are using the adorable *Cherish the Season stamp set and bundle!
I will send you class packages containing cardstock and DSP, cut, punched and die cut, along with embellishments, but I'm not allowed to send you prestamped images, due to copyright issues. You will need a basic list of supplies or alternatives to complete your projects that you can find below.

The Plan

Option 1

My plan is to put together class packages like I usually do for six cards, 2 each of 3 designs, with all the punching and die cutting done, as well as the embellishments, etc., and give you access to the YouTube demos for $10.

Option 2

Your second option is to purchase the *Cherish the Season stamp set from me and you will get the class package for only $5 plus a free gift from me, some 6" x 6" pieces of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper. If you live in my area, you can order by calling me and I can place the order for you and deliver it to you free along with your card pack. The total price will be $34.57.
If you live anywhere else in Canada, your best bet is to order the stamp set through my Online Store and use the Host Code XGTKV4WW. When I see your order, I will mail you the card pack (so be sure to include your address on your order) and if you use the Host Code, I will include the free gift of the 6" x 6" *Balmy Blue Gimmer Paper. I will send you a Pay Pal invoice for the $5 cost of the card package, Glimmer Paper and the mailing cost.

Your third option is the same as Option 2, but instead of just the Cherish the Season stamp set, you would purchase the *Cherish the Season Bundle, which include the stamp set and the coordinating Sounds of the Season Dies. You would then get the card package for just the small shipping cost. (Unless you live close enough for me to deliver the card pack and then it's totally free!) Plus you would get this month's free gift, the 6" x 6" *Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper sheets.
If you live in my area, you can order by calling me and I can place the order for you and deliver it to you free along with your card pack. The total price will be $58.52.

Cherish the Season with Forever Fern

Time to play around some more with my Aug/Dec Mini Catalogue Preorder, and this time I wanted to use some of the *Snowflake Splendour Designer Series Paper and the *Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper. I decided the best way to put them to use was to use the *Cherish the Season Bundle and the Forever Fern Bundle from the Annual Catalogue.

The *Cherish the Season Bundle consists of the *Cherish the Season stamp set and Sounds of the Season Dies and the Forever Fern Bundle has the Forever Fern stamp set and the Forever Flourish die set.

• I started with some Seaside Spray cardstock for the base, because I felt that it coordinated the best with the design I chose from the *Snowflake Splendour DSP.
• I stamped some foliage using the Forever Fern stamp set and die cut it with the Forever Flourish die set along with some vellum foliage to add to it. It was bundled and added to the card front.
• I made a triple finger bow from the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon and added it to the top of the foliage spray using glue dots.
• I die cut the three largest jingle bells from the Sounds of the Seasons die set along with the curved ridges that go in their middles. The ridges were glued on and then the bells were added to the card front using glue dots.
• The sentiment from *Cherish the Season stamp set was stamped in Pacific Point ink and adhered to the card front as well, with Stampin' Seal.
• Finally, some *Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes were added as embellishments.

This isn't too difficult to make and the Forever Fern Bundle works well in coordination with the bells and these colours.
