Quick Post! Almost Home!

This is a very quick post! I'm on holidays visiting grandkids of course and almost home, but not quick enough to get a Wednesday post up. So I'm adding one from my daughter's house and using the last Christmas card from my Christmas in July Online Class on July 24th as the subject today.

This one features the Tidings & Trimmings bundle from page 89 in the Annual Catalogue. The colour palette is Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, and Gold.

• On a Cherry Cobbler card base, I've used some Tidings of Christmas 6 x 6 DSP in Sahara Sand.
• Using the Christmas Trimmings Dies which are part of the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle, I die cut four stars of various kinds from Gold Foil Sheets backed with Adhesive Sheets so they can be applied like stickers.
• I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock and added Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder from the Metallics collection and heat set it.
• I die cut it and a Gold Foil backing with dies from the Tasteful Labels Dies and mounted the whole thing using Stampin' Dimensionals.
• A bow made from the Gold Simply Elegant Trim is added to one star while the others have centers made with the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I've been visiting my daughter Erin, and grandkids Wyatt and Pippa on Vancouver Island this past weekend and we've had a great time, but we're en route home today and it will be back at it! Christmas in July II with Evergreen Elegance Bundle

The second sample for my online Christmas in July class uses the Evergreen Elegance Bundle from the Annual Catalogue on page 91, with the Evergreen Border Punch, which is super fun to use by the way! It also makes use of the lovely Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper on page 133 of the Annual Catalogue.

• The card base is Mint Macaron with a 4" x 5 1/4" sheet of the Tidings of Christmas DSP in the background.
• The evergreen border is punched with the Evergreen Border Punch out of Evening Evergreen cardstock. 
• The sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set is heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Soft Succulent cardstock and die cut with the Layering Circle dies.
• Add to that the Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon and Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the simple design is ready for assembly as shown.

Christmas in July

 I'm actually on holidays right now, finally getting to visit (and babysit) some of my grandkids, so my blog posts will be a little short for the next week. I'm sure you don't mind. You only like looking at the photos anyway, right? Not read all my blatherings on!

This is my first Christmas card of the 2021 year! I made it from products in the 2021/22 Annual Catalogue, even though I am able now, as a demonstrator to preorder from the new July/December Mini Catalogue. I spent all day travelling today, so that will have to come when I can spare a moment from my grandkids!

Anyway, I based this card on the beautiful Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper! It just happens to be one of the DSP packs featured in the Designer Series Paper Sale that starts today and goes until Aug. 2. More about that later.

I just love the colours in this DSP series and I'm sure you will too. I will show you  3 cards over the next 3 posts using this series and you'll see what I mean. These three cards also happen to be featured in my Christmas in July Online class in July:

But let's take a closer look at this first card:

• I love the texture at the top created with the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders, small enough to work with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
• The Mint Macaron Velvet Ribbon is lovely for a Christmas Card
• The sentiment and pine boughs images are from the Evergreen Elegance Stamp set with the trusty Tasteful Labels dies die cutting the sentiment.
• Don't you love how the clear, frosty and Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems look perfect on this card?
