Ever since I saw some creations using the Wonderful Romance Bundle in shades of Navy and Gold, I have not been able to get it off my mind until I tried it out myself. I finally got the chance to play around with that scenario today and here's what happened:
- I started with a Night of Navy base and used the trellis-style edglit from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies to create interest at the edge of the card front.
- I stamped the main large foliage image and two of the smaller foliage image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set on vellum in Versamark ink, added Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set it. The smaller image was also stamped once with Night of Navy ink on Whisper White. These images were then all die cut with the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies.
- Using other dies from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies, some more leaves and sprigs were die cut from Gold Foil sheets and Vellum.
- The sentiment from the Wonderful Romance stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set. It was die cut with the the oval die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies.
- All these elements were layered together using Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals and added to the card front. The finishing touch embellishment is a Floral Romance Seal on the sentiment panel.
I love the look of these colours and shapes together.
