New Christmas Sampler and Year End Close Out Begins

Today is a big day! It's the day all demonstrators can begin to preorder from the new 2019 Occasions Catalogue, it's the day we find out what is retiring from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue and what has been discounted, and I have my upline's Team Christmas Party to attend!! Whew! It's all kind of connected in some ways, too! You see, for the Team Christmas Party, there will be a Gift Exchange, and for the Gift Exchange, we have to bring something hand made and obviously, for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, that's going to involve papercrafting, like as not. So my idea was to create another sampler, this one is for Christmas. You can check out other samplers I have done here, here and here. I used the same pattern for this one.

How is this connected to the Retiring List? Well, it's using many products from the Holiday Catalogue, some of which are indeed retiring and one or two are, as well, discounted! This is a great way to highlight a number of the great products from this past fall and get us ready for the coming spring and the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration!!

First, take a closer look at the sampler:

  • The Basic Black 12" x 12" cardstock base can't be seen but gives strength to the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, on top of it as the base. It is beautiful paper, but alas it has already been sold out and is no longer able to be ordered.
  • All the smaller panels have squares and rectangles of different but coordination sizes, first Basic Black and then a slightly smaller cut (1/8") of the Joyous Noel 6" x 6" Copper coloured Glimmer Paper over top of that.
  • After that, each panel differs. The largest holds another square of the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper. Then I built a poinsettia on that using a 3/4" circle base, 10 large embossed leaves (3 in Tranquil Tide)  from the Nature's Roots Framelits and 4 small embossed leaves.
  • The others feature different stamp sets or dies or punches including First Frost (which is not retiring) Snow is Glistening (already retired), Dashing Deer which is retiring due to its composition, but will likely be back in cling format, since the framelits aren't gone. Snow is
Glistening is in there, but it's already retired and gone for good and Peaceful Noel. Oh, and don't forget the Into the Woods Framelits and the Tin Tile embossing folder, which appear to be sticking around.

Anyway, you can head on over to my On-Line Store and have a look for yourself! The cool thing is that they've listed all the retiring products and then they have a separate listing for the discounted ones. This is the best place to look and see if what you wanted is still around and not sold out. It is updated in real time and if it's not there then it's either not retiring, and you can still find it in the Holiday Catalogue listing, or it has been sold out!

If you prefer lists, here's one which is only updated once daily: Retiring List PDF

Remember to get your orders in EARLY, as everything is only available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.    Last I saw, Pleasant Pheasants was in low supply!

**Just a couple of notes: ALL the bundles automatically retire as the products are only bundles in 1 catalogue only. The products themselves may not actually be retiring, just the bundling price.
**All wood and clear mount stamps are retiring to make way for CLING stamps. So even though they are all listed, some of the clear and wood mounts may be making their way back again in the CLING format.
