Pals Paper Arts Colour Challenge

Loving this warm, warm sunny weather!  I'm looking forward to our camping trips coming up soon.  We are comfort campers.  We have a giant air bed.  We have a shower/portapotty tent.  We have a kitchen shelter.  All this makes camping a little more comfortable for our (old) experienced bones!  Someday soon we are planning to get a  hybrid trailer, but this year we bought the truck to pull it, so it will wait for another year or two.  My favourite part of camping is setting up camp.  I love creating little comforts out of nature or other things we brought.  I think it comes from my Girl Guide days!  Where's your favourite place to camp?

Pals Paper Arts put up a new challenge on Thursday and this time it's a colour challenge!
Summer Starfruit (yum!), Marina Mist and Real Red.  I hadn't noticed until now how well Summer Starfruit goes with Marina Mist!  Here's my take on Pals Paper Arts Challenge 140:

I really love this summery combination. And the gorgeous Blooming with Kindness stamp set.  I also adore Stampin' Up's new Stitched Satin Ribbon.  It's the loveliest ribbon I've ever worked with.  If you have trouble with bows and such, you've got to try this.  Bows come together so easily with the weight and softness of this fabric.  It comes in all the 2012/14 In Colours! Here I've used Summer Starfruit.  The back Marina Mist panel was watermarked using VersaMark ink and the Flowering Flourishes stamp set.  The image was stamped in Summer Starfruit and the sentiment in Real Red.  I added a few pearls for embellishments and created a simple but lovely card that will be a project for all my August workshops!
