Which are your favourite As You See It challenges? I think Sketch challenges are among my favourites, because they lay out the structure for my projects. In this challenge, #350, we get a trio of panels creating interest in the top of the card, so I named the sketch Triptych, which refers to a 3 panel art display. This sketch was designed by my Design Teammate Joanne.
I just happened to be at a crop fund raiser when I tackled this challenge, and we got a half pack of the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP to work with, so I decided to use some of that suite to create the card. Here's the result:
- I used a card base of Azure Afternoon with a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Lemon Lime Twist on top. The holes were cut with one of the retired Stitched Rectangle Dies spaced evenly across the top of the card.
- Behind the rectangular openings is a piece of Kintsugi Inspirations DSP glued to the card base.
- The sentiment, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, is from the Inspiring Imperfections bundle, and is die cut using one of the Stylish Shapes dies.
- The flowers are stamped with Petal Pink and Lemon Lime Twist and die cut using the Inspiring Imperfections dies. They are tucked in amongst the die cut rectangular openings.
- The strip of 3/8" Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon takes the place of the twine bow in the sketch.
