Seeing Circles for As You See It Challenges

Time for another new challenge over at As You See It Challenges again. This time Amanda has given us an unusual sketch which three of us in the Design Team interpreted pretty close to the sketch, and interestingly enough, used shades of blue and white as our palettes! The other two members took it in completely different directions, Here's the sketch:

You know when you look at something and you think, "Oooo-kay! Circles are...circles! What else can I do with that?" And you kind of draw a blank.  I hummed and hawed for a bit until I came across my Blossom Bunch Punch. Then I got out all my blues and started punching.

Here's how it turned out:

  • I used Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Tempting Turquoise, Pool Party and Soft Sky cardstock to create the ombre effect with the flower circles, punched with the Blossom Bunch Punch. (Say that 3 times quickly!)
  • The sentiment is from the Window Shopping stamp set and is stamped in Dapper Denim ink.
  • I added some Falling in Love Embellishments for interest and it made all the difference from ho-hum to hmmm!
Go on over to As You See It Challenges and play along this weekend! See you over there!
