Self-Closing Box for My Free Newsletter Tutorial in December

It took me a while to figure out what I was going to feature in my free photo tutorial that I offer with my monthly newsletter for December. I didn't have any new techniques I could teach or fancy folds I could offer. So I went hunting for something unique and I found a Youtube video with the most amazing box. The video was by Angel from Intratwyne Designs and the box is one that self-closes. I'll show you what I mean in a series of photos. But I thought it would work nicely with a gift candle  to which you have added a stamped image, so I will throw the instructions for how to do that into the same tutorial! Two for the price of one, which is FREE! Take a look at this awesome box:

I thought it would look good with some extra embellishment so I added a little label to it:

The label is thanks to the Oh What Fun stamp set and the Starburst Punch. I'm thinking that some of the other designs from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper would make striking looking boxes as well so I may use something a little different for the photo tutorial.

If you would like to receive the FREE tutorial for this box and the candle as well, all you need to do is sign up for my free monthly newsletter, with the understanding that you can unsubscribe easily at any time. I respect your inbox and will not flood you with email. I try, whenever possible to include all the Stampin' Up! announcements in the newsletter for that month. Occasionally, such as this past month, Stampin' Up! will spring promotions on us that we don't know are coming and then I may send you another email if it is a promotion I think you will really want to know about, but other than that, I try to make it a once a month deal.
