Halloween was very non-eventful here. We live on a busy street, with a steep driveway and lots of stairs, which I'm sure is very daunting for the would-be trick or treater! I didn't even get to enjoy my two little grandsons on their first Halloween, as they live so far away.
But I got to see their costumes on Skype. What would we do without Skype? They were irritated to indifferent to wearing a costume this year. I'm sure next year will be a different story! Here they are: Parker as Harry Potter and Kesten as a little fox!
Adorable, aren't they?
I have a card for you today! Wonders! It's a design I've planned for my Technique Night in November, where the theme is Fancy Folds. This is one that I came across in my searches called a Waterfall Fold.
The way it works is that you pull down on the tab with the ribbon and the small panels with the snowflakes and ornaments on them fold up one by one and disappear down behind the tab. Here's a couple of shots in action:
If you want to know more about the technique and how to make this card and two other fancy fold cards, then you've got to attend my Technique Night class this month. You have two options: Wednesday, November 7 or Thursday, November 8, both at my house at 7:00 pm. You can register here for Wednesday or here for Thursday.
