Winter Wonderland Printer's Tray Christmas Gift Swap

So, each year, my up-upline, Desirée Spenst, holds a wonderful Christmas party for her team. There is an amazing pot luck, a stamping project, and a gift swap. People make the most amazing items to bring as gifts, though they must maintain a $10 limit. Last year, I attended my first one, and even though you could just give $10 in current project, which I did, being short of time, I was so embarrassed when I found out the time and effort that went into making some amazing handmade gifts. This year, I was determined to step it up! I remembered that I had bought one of the printer`s trays that Stampin' Up! included in one of it's past kits. And I had so much leftover Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper to use, I decided to make a Winter Wonderland Printer's Tray for a piece of Christmas decor.

  • Gold, black and white is the colour scheme which I've used a lot this winter, mostly due to this Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used lots of Stampin' Up! products in this project, and also some Christmas decor items and other knickknacks in my stash.
  • I finally used the antler paper! Yay! I've been trying all season to get some use out of it. Luckily, it has a design on the other side!

  • The letters in the upper right compartment are made with an old retired product I've had for ages called On Board Alphabet Soup, and they are different styles of letters die cut in coaster board. I needed larger letters than the Little Letters Thinlit Dies would provide. I traced them on Gold Glimmer Paper and hand cut the shapes and glued on the  coaster board letters.
  • I used Dazzling Diamonds and Gold Glimmer Paper for the Delicate Ornaments in the center panel.
It was actually a whole lot of fun to make, and I hope the recipient is happy with it. If it is well-received, it might even get stolen a couple of times during the exchange, I'll let you know!
