I am happy that you are joining us for our blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you! Today we will feature products from the Brand New 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared among all of us on the team!
The product I chose to highlight is the Enjoy Life stamp set. It's a set inspired by Million Sales Achiever, Connie Fitzgerald, and it really is inspiring, with some awesome sentiments and great silhouette images, which I've been missing from our catalogues lately. Here's what I came up with:
- The silhouette images in this stamp set include this woman, a cyclist, the background branches you can see stamped off here in Bermuda Bay, the grass and the flowers, the butterflies and a bird. They're all great for stamping in front of a sponged background like I have done.
- My colour palette includes Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Tranquil Tide, with some tiny accents of Bermuda Bay, Grapefruit Grove and Copper.
- When sponging the backgrounds of the two panels, I used Stamping Sponges, and started sponging off the panel working toward the middle of it, so as to avoid heavy blobs of colour on the cardstock itself. That first blush comes off on the scrap paper before you hit the actual cardstock.
- A little piece of Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper provides a backdrop for the image and sentiment panels. Isn't that a moving sentiment, by the way??
I hope you enjoyed my design with the Enjoy Life stamp set. Now please hop on over to Mary Trautner's blog to see what she's done with the stamp set, Hand Delivered!
Or try moving back to Pat Ertman's blog for a creation with Rooted in Nature, my favourite set in the new catalogue!
