Ranunculus Romance for As You See It Challenges

ranunculus romance for as you see it challenge 1s

It's time for another As You See It Challenge, this one a colour challenge with the palette chosen by me! Take a look at the challenge banner:

aysi #267
We've titled this one Soft & Muted because of the feeling I get when I look at both the palette of colours and at the banner photo.

I decided to use these colours to do some ink blending, which is soft & muted just in its execution, and it turns out, these colours blend into one another seamlessly.
I used torn paper to make the edges of a channel between which I created the blended ink area.

Then I used the various collage images from the stamp set Ranunculus Romance, to add some collage stamping to it. Finally I stamped the images of the two flowers from the same set on Basic White and coloured them with Stampin' Blends, then die cut them to add as a focal point.

The sentiment, also from Ranunculus Romance, was stamped in Evening Evergreen on Basic White. The sentiment and its backing were die cut with dies from the Tasteful Labels Dies and mounted on the card front as shown.

The card base is Evening Evergreen and is layered with Crumb Cake and Basic White.
