Stamp of the Month Club

I've been on a bit of a boy birthday kick lately.  Not having raised boys, I am so enjoying my three little grandsons, soon to be four, in January.  My one granddaughter is so far outnumbered badly, but there may be more babies to come, who know?

I fell behind last month and didn't get my Stamp of the Month Club samples and tutorials finished so my club was okay with skipping August and moving right on into September. (It takes forevvvver to do those photo tutorials, btw!)  So here is September's samples  and the tutorials are all done and ready to be shipped out when you sign up for the club this month.  The Stamp of the Month is Boys Will Be Boys.  Here is what you get with the package:

1.  This clear mount stamp set.
2. The three cards that you see above.  The center one is my own design and the other two are cases        from Pinterest.  The one with the gears was designed by Wendie Bee and the Paratrooper one was      designed by Sandy Risi.
3. A photo tutorial for each of the cards featuring a list of all supplies and clear step-by-step                     instructions with photos.
4. Links to a facebook page for interaction and access to the odd video.

You can sign up month-to-month, but if you commit to a 6 month term you will get the hostess benefits from all the Stamp of the Month Orders in one of the 6 months during which you are part of the club.

To sign up, click the link for Stamp of the Month On-Line Club at the top of this page and fill in the form at the bottom.  When I get your information, then I will send you a Paypal invoice by email. When I have your payment I will mail you the cards, stamp set and paper copy of the tutorials.  I will also email you the digital tutorials right away, so you can follow the links on them.  If you are not Canadian, company regulations will not allow me to send you the stamp set, but I can send you the cards and tutorials for a reduced price.  You can always order the stamp set for yourself.

What a great month May is!  There should be NO MORE SNOW, at least I've never experienced snow in May!  How about you?

BIG NEWS: Photopolymer - The (Totally) Clear Choice

This could be the BIGGEST NEWS I've heard all year:  WOOHOO!

I can hardly wait to try them!  How about you? Those people at Stampin' Up Headquarters are so tricky!  We had no idea!  Let me know if you're interested in trying them out.

I do have a card for you as well:

It's another card I made at my Papercrafter's retreat last weekend.  I had so much fun with this!  But the best part was making that little flower! 

•  I used the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch to cut out 3 scalloped circles in Cherry Cobbler and 3 in Chocolate Chip. 
•  I worked them with the bone folder to soften the fibres in the paper until I could separate the two layers which give a suede-like effect.  
• I crumpled and sponged the layers with Chocolate Chip, alternated the colours and pierced the center of all the layers with the Paper Piercing tool. 
•  I sponged a flower from the 5/8" Flower Trim (from the Spring Catalogue) and joined them all together with a Neutrals Brad.  

• The background is Very Vanilla stamped with the En Francais background stamp in Early Espresso, sponged with Chocolate Chip ink and adhered to the Chocolate Chip card base.  
• The leaves are from another stamped piece of Very Vanilla run through the Big Shot with the Little Leaves Sizzlet. 
•  I used the vintage postage stamp images from the Postage Due stamp set, punched them out with the Postage Stamp punch and sponged them with Chocolate Chip again and adhered them to a 2 7/16" square piece of Chocolate Chip card stock.
