Sitting Here, Thanking You!

It was time to make more Thank You cards to slip into my customers orders, so I got out a pack of Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes and some of my new stuff from my new Annual Catalogue Preorder, in particular the new 2016 - 18 In Colours* and the Sitting Here stamp set*. I am having so much fun with that new stamp set, because there are so many cozy little elements to it and it kind of personifies summer to me - lazy afternoons on the veranda in a porch swing.

And get a load of all the new In Colours. I think this project really highlights them well! Which are your favourites? I'm not sure I could pick just one, I really like them all!

  • The new In Colours for 2016 - 18* are Dapper Denim*, in the center of the photo, Emerald Envy* on the top left, Flirty Flamingo*, top right, Peekaboo Peach* bottom left and Sweet Sugarplum* on the bottom right. I'm thankful we have a new purer, more saturated pink in Flirty Flamingo, and the Dapper Denim reminds me a bit of Midnight Muse or Not Quite Navy. The Sweet Sugarplum is a lovely shade of lilac, the the Peekaboo Peach kind of reminds me of Crisp Cantaloupe a little. The Emerald Envy is very bold and makes a big statement!
  • You can stamp the images from the Sitting Here stamp set* in Basic Black Archival Ink and then watercolour them, or if you're in a hurry, they look great stamped in just one colour as you see them here. You might have to do some masking if you're going to put them on the swing however, but I kind of cheated. I stamped all my round pillows on a separate piece of Whisper White and found that they are just the right size and shape to be punched out with the 3/4" Circle Punch! Then I added them to the swing with a Glue Dot.
  • The sentiment is found in the Rose Wonder stamp set.

Product Shares

I'm wondering whether or not to offer Product Shares from the new catalogue. I haven't found people very interested in the shares that I have offered in the last year, so I'm asking for your response here. If I were to offer Paper, Ribbon and Embellishment Shares, would you want to take advantage of them? (A product share is where I facilitate you forming groups of 4 people to share a pack of paper or a spool of ribbon, or a package of embellishments. You get more variety of product for less expense.)

If any of you have been thinking of buying the starter kit and joining my Stampin' Up! team, this would be a good time to do that. The price of the started kit is going up $10 starting June 1st, so you can save $10 if you do it before then. The starter kit is comprised of $155 worth of ANY current products of your choice for only $125 with no shipping charges, plus a free business pack to get you started. You are not required to sell, but there is an easy minimum to meet every 3 months to keep your demo status! While you have your demo status you can earn a 20% - 25% discount on all your stamping supplies! How good is that? You don't need an inventory, and there's a great group of women to hang out and craft with who will give you valuable advice on how to run your business if you need it. What's not to like?
