Happy Friday! And I'm happy to be able to play along with The Paper Players this week finally! It's been quite awhile. They have a colour challenge going on over there and I thought it was a good time to use a little fall design with my Colorful Seasons bundle. It's so great for year round designs, so I wanted to show you the versatility of the set.
Here's the challenge banner:
These are really tropical colours, but I thought they could also be early fall colours, when the foliage is mostly green, and just beginning to show a little hint of orange.
- I love the sentiment. It is versatile as well: could be a birthday, a wedding, a retirement, an anniversary - you name it!
- My favourites are the lacy leaves as I like to call them, die cut using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, part of the bundle. They make such a statement on a card, and they are so easy to die cut!
- I wanted to off set the layers a bit for an asymmetrical look.
And that's all, folks! Enjoy your weekend! Don't forget to cash in your Bonus Days coupons before the end of August!
This is gorgeous! I love how the leaves are arranged....great design. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't expected to see Colourful Seasons with these colours but, as you say, it is so versatile that it does work! The colours give such a fresh look. I like the design you've used too - the way the frames are slightly offset give it real interest. Thanks for joining us again at The Paper Players, Heather.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully unexpected way to use the colors - I love it. the leaves in the coral and bermuda just pop off that white background. Fabulous card, Heather. So glad you joined us at the Players this week
