Back on Your Feet for a Get Well Card

This next card I can really relate to, because I've been fighting a respiratory infection for over a week now. I rarely get sick, but it usually happens when I get together with my kids or grandkids when they have a bug of some kind. This one left me with laryngitis and a fierce cough so when I was looking through the new stamp sets that I hadn't used yet, Back On Your Feet really struck a chord.

This stamp set caught my eye right away at OnStage when I got my new Annual Catalogue. I loved the sweet images in it and the funny captions that went with them:

Here's a close up:

  • My colour scheme is Mango Melody and Soft Suede. I stamped the image and sentiments in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • I used the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder for the texture layer and the Stitched Shapes dies and the Rectangle Stitched Dies to die cut the sentiments.
  • The Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Combo and the Soft Suede Combo were used to colour in the giraffe.
  • A little bit of braided linen trim formed the bow added just below the top sentiment with a glue dot.

My Retired Paper Inventory has now been updated to include all the recently retired paper products that I had from the old Annual Catalogue and the 2019 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Brochures. Click on the Photo or the caption to access it.

  1. What a cute card! Love the critters, not necessarily the dire straits they are in though, lol. So sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Hope you get rid of that nasty infection and cough soon.
