- On a card base of Night of Navy cardstock I added two pieces of the Stargazing DSP, one in Berry Burst, measuring 4" x 5 1/4", and one in Blueberry Bushel, moved to the right end, measuring 4" x 3 7/8". This created a Berry Burst column on the left side.
- Then I centered a Blueberry Bushel "Galaxy" design piece of DSP, measuring 4 3/4" x 3 1/4" on the card front and adhered it down.
- I embossed the sentiment from the Reach for the Stars stamp set in White embossing powder on Brushed Gold Metallic cardstock and die cut it using the second smallest Deckled Circle die.
- I folded the Night of Navy & Gold 1/2" Glittered Ribbon over itself and adhered it to the card front in the bottom left corner, then added the sentiment using Dimensionals over top.
- The last step was adding some Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets.
I completed my card in 8 minutes and 48 minutes by the timer:

So pretty, Heather - that is some of my favorite DSP this year - how cool it is with teh Star Trinkets! Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather! I love it when different suites coordinate!
DeleteLoving the two colours together Heather and the whole starry theme! Hope I'll have time to join in - love a good speed challenge! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vicky! I hope you have time, too! I love your creations!
DeleteGreat choice, Heather. I was on my way to this dsp when I encountered the papers I did use, so great minds! I really like the way you've created that two-coloured frame for the starry universe. The swoosh of ribbon is like a comet tail. What a delight in under ten minutes!
ReplyDeleteI saw your astronaut for FMS! I loved it! Thanks, Jan!
DeleteI jumped to my starry papers, totally forgetting I had this paper and the one Jan used too (clearly too much DSP, but that's a whole other story!) I just love this Heather - the starry, space scene looks great with the star embellishments too!
ReplyDeleteHeather - I feel like I am sitting around a campfire starring up at the sky with that beautiful paper! I need to picture a campfire cause it is December! That ribbon is gorgeous with your gold "medallion". This is a prize winning card! Merry Christmas!
