I'm busy designing for my December Stamp of the Month Online Club and the stamp Set for this month is Chalk Talk. It's been a favourite of mine for a couple of years now and I know you'll like it because it is so versatile. And because it's designed for a chalkboard technique, I think it will be absolutely amazing with the new Chalk Inks that Stampin' Up! will be featuring in the new Occasions Catalogue. I haven't ordered them yet, but they are at the top of my wish list, so it won't be long!
I used the MOJO Monday sketch challenge for the layout:
And I went to my Pinterest board on Colour Palettes to choose a colour scheme:
I put it all together and Voila!
- I love the combination of Smoky Slate with bright colours. Here I used Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight!
- The Strawberry Slush Designer Series Paper is from All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack. This is another great deal for only $8.50 and you get 48 sheets all together and 12 double-sided designs.
- The Argyle Embossing Folder seemed the most appropriate for this design. I had originally used another Daffodil Delight design from All Abloom, but there was too much white in that design and I felt the need for more intense colour.
- The sentiment and the label behind it are stamped with images from Chalk Talk and die cut with the matching framelits. You can bundle the stamp set and the framelits and save 15%! Let me know, if you want the Stamp of the Month this month, if you'd like to increase the price and get the framelits as well.
