Thank You to Demonstrator Support for Their Awesomeness #weloveds

Demonstrator Support is a service Stampin' Up! provides its demonstrators. You can phone DS for help with ordering, problems with orders or deliveries, or any questions you might have about policies and products! In fact, the amount of knowledge a Demonstrator Support employee must have is mind-boggling. I have been so thankful for them in a number of cases. Not only that, but they are so cheerful and helpful. I rarely come away from a phone call or email without all the information and resolution I need! Last year, demonstrators came up with a plan to thank Demonstrator Support personnel. They flooded the office with cards, tweets, facebook posts etc., just to let DS know how we feel about them. It was so well supported that we are doing it again this year, using the hashtag,
#weloveds!

I used a colour challenge from The Paper Players for this card. It features three of the five In Colours that will be retiring this year, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana. I'm going to be really sorry to see them go, but I'm also excited to find out the new In Colours that will be introduced in the 2015-16 Annual Catalogue in June.  In the meantime, better stock up on these retiring shades before they're unavailable.

Here's a closer look at my card:

  • I dug out the Big News Stamp set, which I haven't used very often, but which has this sentiment that was perfect for the situation. There does seem to be no limit to their awesomeness! It's stamped in Coastal Cabana and die cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits, which this stamp was just made for, I can tell.
  • I die cut another shape in Pistachio Pudding and cut it in half, glueing it on the back of the sentiment panel, just offset a bit on the top and bottom. To do this, it is necessary to trim off the little points on the ends of the background shape. The whole panel is popped up on Dimensionals.
  • The panel behind the sentiment is stamped using the Mother's Love Stamp set, which is a funky two-step stamping floral set. Each image comes in solid and outline which created the flowers you see here.
  • A little DSP from the Lullaby Designer Series Paper in Pistachio Pudding creates a envelope liner. The bow on the card front is tied with the In Colour Thick Baker's Twine.
I'm sure you have a person that you know with no awesomeness limit! This would be a great card for them.

Tuesday means new Weekly Deals. Take a look at these bargains:

I think I'll give those Washi Sheets a try! And maybe the Striped Scallop Thinlits Die. Those Something Borrowed Embellishments are so beautiful and make great jewelry as well as card bling!
