I Love Birthdays

I don't love getting older, but I do like celebrating life and birthdays are a great way to do that.  It's a wonderful occasion to let others know how valuable they are to you and to the world!  So I like to have a lot of birthday cards on hand and I like to make special cards "made to order" for the persons receiving them.  I gave away a birthday card today to another demonstrator in our group.  She is a person I really admire for the artistry in her card making, and she is just a really genuine person and open with her struggles and joys!

I went back to an old favourite stamp set, Nature Walk, for this one, and I used the colours in the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack.  There are seriously some wonderful designs in this series and I almost overlooked them.  I really LOVE this elegant paisley design in Midnight Muse and Marina Mist with little pops of Summer Starfruit.  I was going for Clean and Simple, but don't think I quite made it.  However, this is almost as clean and simple as I am capable of doing.

This is a bit of a stretch for the MOJO Monday layout this week, but I think it has the same general layout.

Have you got a special person in your life who will be celebrating a birthday soon!  Celebrate their life with a card designed especially for them especially by you!  Let me know if I can help in any way!
