I hope you will excuse a short post today! I have some little people at my house this coming weekend! All my favourite little people that is:
Yep, all 5 grandkids at my house at one time, and their parents, too! What more could a grandmother's heart hope for? I'm so excited. And 2/5 of them are already here! So this will be a short one today.
I needed a Design Team sample for As You See It Challenges today and it was a delicious colour challenge that I didn't want to miss:
Look at those gorgeous colours together! All I needed was a lay out, so I went to Freshly Made Sketches and loosely followed their sketch:
It seemed those colours just needed a floral design so I got out Best Thoughts Stamp Set and got to work doing a little watercolouring:
- The hydrangea is embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and watercoloured using an Aqua Painter and Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush ink.
- The sentiment from the same stamp set is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.
- Background paper is from the In Colour Envelope Paper and the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.
- I used the Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Ribbon and Metal Rimmed Pearls as embellishments!
Now, off to play with my grandkids! Have a great weekend!
