Yesterday was a mad, "make a million thank you cards" day! I exaggerate. It only felt like a million! But all those lovely customers ordering all those lovely Stampin' Up! products meant I had to get down to work and create a whole bunch of cards to express my gratitude. And I wanted to do it in style with some of the latest products from Stampin' Up! and the latest challenge from Pals Paper Arts. Brian King came up with this beautiful colour swatch for the challenge:
So with my Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes and my Botanical Builder Dies and my as yet uninked Cottage Greetings stamp set, I came up this this design:
- The background Designer Series Paper is from the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack. You get four 12" x 12" sheets of each double-sided design in this large paper stack, so it gives you enough to do multiples of the same card. I picked a Mint Macaron Stripe to use.
- I stamped the sentiment from Cottage Greetings Stamp Set in Melon Mambo and die cut it with the Ovals Collection Framelit Dies. The Melon Mambo matte is cut with the next largest oval.
- I die cut the flower using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from Melon Mambo cardstock and the leaf using the same die set in Mint Macaron. Try saying that phrase ten times rapidly!
- The It's My Party Enamel Dots served as the middle of the flower. Then I added some clear Wink of Stella to the edges of the petals. Fun!!

Such a great card, Heather! I love how you've only accented the black in the background. Your card is soft and beautiful! Thank you so much for playing along with my color challenge this week at Pals Paper Arts - I'm so glad you did.
