I have a second little grandson celebrating a birthday this month, the day before my birthday! He is such a cutie pie and this will be his first birthday! He just started to walk a couple of days ago, and he loves waving to his Nana Banana (me) on Skype!
Could he get any cuter?
I used the Number of Years Stamp Set along with the coordinating Large Number Framelits to make this one, and I especially like the combination of Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.
- The background paper is from the 2015-17 In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack, as is the paper I used to punch out the balloons using Balloon Bouquet Punch.
- Look Who's Turning and the number 1, as well as the banner below were stamped with images from the Number of Years Stamp Set. The happy birthday sentiment is from Boys Will Be Boys, and you can see it fits perfectly in the sentiment banner that was die cut with one of the Large Number Framelits that coordinates.
- I used some Linen Thread and glue dots to add the balloon strings. This was a pretty easy peasy card to make!
Blog Candy
It's been a really long time since I offered any rewards, and when I looked at my stats the other day, I noticed that I had just reached 300,000 page views, so I thought this was as good a time as any to thank my readers with a bit o' Blog Candy!
What is it?: The Project Life Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Stamp Set, brand new; some Red Glimmer Paper and a pack of English Garden Designer Series Paper, and a new pack of White and Gold Glitter Ribbon.
How do you win? Read this carefully! I would like you to leave a comment here on my blog post and share this post to Facebook. Every time you do this you will get your name in the draw. (Sorry, my American friends, but I can only ship to Canadian addresses.)
On Monday, January 18 at 7 pm PST, I will draw a name from those entered and award the blog candy!
Good luck!

Blog candy would be a great birthday gift! :D Your little grandson is simply adorable. I'm already planning TJ's first birthday party - teddy bear's picnic!
