Honeycomb Happiness for As You See It Challenges

So many DELICIOUS things in the Occasion Catalogue. Gorgeous ribbon, cute embellishments, lovely Designer Series Paper and great stamps. I wanted to show you a few more today with the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set. My Design Team sample for As You See It Challenges was due today and this is the great sketch Amanda gave us to work with:

The word bubble was an interesting addition, but our Word Bubble Framelits are retired now, so what to do? Then I remembered that the Chalk Talk framelits were still current and that they had a shape that looked kind of like a word bubble so I got that out.

I actually made two versions of this card, one with a water coloured ice cream cone and one with an embellishment on the painted cone. Which one do you like the best?

• The background paper is from Birthday Bouquet. I guess you can tell that I really like the colours and designs of this series! I focused in on Sahara Sand, Pool Party, Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder.
• Both ribbons are from the Occasions Catalogue. Aren't they beautiful? The Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon is a version of the White and Gold Glitter Ribbon we had in the Holiday Catalogue, but so much more beautiful! The Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon is shiny and lovely as only satin can be!
• The embellishments are the stars here. The little Honeycomb Embellishments are so cool. They are self-stick, so you adhere one side to one side of your ice cream cone, then remove the film from the other side and open up the honeycomb and stick it to the other side of your ice cream. If you are concerned about mailing it, adhere half of it, keeping it closed and include directions for your recipient to open it up and adhere to the other side. And don't you just love the enamel glitter dots that come in the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit?
