I'm absolutely loving the mixed metallics look from the Year of Cheer Suite in the Holiday Catalogue! It's so elegant that you just can't miss, no matter what you design! I had some projects left over from a Holiday Catalogue Launch that I wanted to do something different with, and they happened to contain different sized mixed metallic circles from products in the Year of Cheer Suite, so I thought they would be perfect for creating something for this week's Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. Check it out:
With lots of white cardstock on the base, it also created a fairly CAS project which is what Freshly Made Sketches is known for.
- One product that I really like from this suite is the Year Of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape. I've used it here for the horizontal element in the sketch. Again I like the mixed metallic look of it and the glimmer some of the designs have. It makes a sophisticated statement.
- The Foil Snowflakes have been wildly popular, but are back in full stock. You have a two finishes in a pack, silver and gold. Here I chose a gold one. Then we have a champagne foil punched circle and one punched from the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper!
- The sentiment has been stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. It's from the Hearts Come Home stamp set.
We're heading into the last week or so of Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper Promotion and it's a good idea to take advantage of that while you can. I get that 4 full packages of DSP might be a bit much for those of you who only get to craft on the weekends, buy why not consider getting together with a couple of friends to share the packages and the savings!
Here are the Designer Series Paper Packages that are part of the promotion:
