The Christmas Quilt Bundle was almost one that I didn't get this time around, but I'm glad that I changed my mind. The quilting images just didn't appeal that much to me, though I know that I have customers who are also quilters. But I started to see some really cute Christmas cards turning up all over the internet made with this set, and I reevaluated my original decision. I came up with this design after finding a piece of Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper that I really liked and needing another design for a Christmas Card Buffet class, using a set that I hadn't already used.
- Don't you love the embroidered look of the sweet sentiment? I feel like you could just extend the tail of the s a bit and add a needle, to complete the effect.
- The Whisper White panel has been embroidered using the Quilt Top Embossing Folder. It's such a great design - so authentic looking!
- The layer under the trees is that piece of Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" DSP I was telling you about. I love the combination of colours and textures in it.
- I used the Quilt Builder Framelits to die cut the three trees, their pots and stars as well as add the stitching detail in the trees themselves.
- This card is easy to make and assemble. There is very little stamping involved and it would be a good design for mass producing your own Christmas greetings this year!
