Happy Halloween!
A very quick post today, hoping you're having fun with all the little ghosts and goblins and their goodie bags. I've had to make an unscheduled trip away from home to help out my daughter, whose husband was taken very ill when he was away from home. She went to be by his side and we went to be with our grandchildren at their house, so we are doing the honours for Halloween this year, even as we worry and pray for our son-in-law that he will be improving soon.
I promised a 3D surprise today and so you get a rag tag bunch of little treat holders featuring the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper and the new Takeout Thinlits Dies. Here's how they look closer up:
- Each of these five treat boxes uses a different design of the Toil & Trouble DSP except for the one on the top left which is made from the Black Foil Sheets. Each box has a window cut in it so that you can see the treats inside, but you can also see the designs on the opposite side of the DSP as well.
- I've fussy cut objects from the Toil & Trouble DSP sheets to add as decor on the boxes. If I had the Cauldron Framelit Dies, I would have been able to use them to die cut some of these objects, but I didn't so out came the Paper Snips.
- The beautiful Black 5/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon adorns some of the boxes and I got the sentiments from the Seasonal Chums stamp set and created the BOO! with the Pick a Pennant stamp set alphabet. The banners and tags you see are die cuts from the Takeout Thinlits Dies.
- I also used the 1 1/8" and the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle Punches for the middle sentiment.
