My attention wanders back to our beautiful Annual catalogue these days, back to all the beautiful stamp sets and Designer Series Paper and coordinating dies and embellishments that barely get enough time to focus on them before it's time to move on to the Holiday Catalogue and then the Occasions Catalogue! I have so much of the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper left and the next As You See It Challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity to put it to work! And then I could also use the lovely images in the Love What You Do stamp set for the focal image. Here is the Challenge sketch:
- All three pieces of Designer Series Paper are from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, but only 1 of them shows the pearlized side and that's the middle one. I think you can see the flower petals reflecting the light. Each panel is backed with Basic Black cardstock to give it more definition.
- The stamped image is from the Love What You Do stamp set. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used the "filler" stamp to add the colour to each blossom, with Tranquil Tide (stamped off once), Mint Macaron, and Mint Macaron stamped off once.
- The stamped image was die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. It is backed with a scallop oval die cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits. The sentiment, from Itty Bitty Greetings, punched using the Classic Label Punch is attached to the back of this using a Glue Dot.
- Adhesive is added to the back of the image panel and the ribbon is attached: Tranquil Tide 3/8" Mini-Ruffled Ribbon and Old Olive 1/8" Sheer Ribbon.
- Share What You Love Artisan Pearls embellish the card.
Today you can finally get your hands on these coordinating products, but they are only available until March 31st and then they are gone so don't wait too long!!

Good morning Heather, I believe that your layout is awesome and the card is just as awesome. It is so unusual a layout that it really catches your eye immediately. GREAT job. TFS : - )
ReplyDeleteThanks, Penny! It is really unusual but fun to play with. I appreciate your kind comments.
