What's New at SU Blog Hop with Frosted Foliage

I'm so pleased that you are joining us for our hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Today we will feature products from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue, which will be coming out on September 4th. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today!

The products that I'm sharing with you are the *Frosted Foliage Cling Stamp Set. the *Frosted Frames Dies and the *Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. Here is my sample:

*New Products from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue, not available for sale until Sept. 4, 2019.

I also took the new *Shimmery Crystal Effects and *Ice Stampin' Glitter out for a test drive. Here's a closer look:
  • The base is Seaside Spray and there is a panel of Balmy Blue on top of it. I tried embossing this layer, but the whole thing just ended up looking too busy.
  • I die cut the large frame from a piece of the *Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP and heat embossed the sentiment, from *Frosted Foliage, using White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
  • Extra pieces to embellish the frames were die cut from vellum and Silver Foil Sheets, using the *Frosted Frames dies. These were added to the large frame by putting adhesive on the back of it in the strategic places and then just adhering the extra pieces where they looked the best.
  • I die cut several snowflakes, from Silver Foil Sheets, Balmy Blue and Seaside Spray cardstock, then, on the cardstock ones, "painted" them with the *Shimmery Chrystal Effects and added the *Ice Stampin' Glitter.  It definitely resulted in a glittery, icy look!
  • A little bow from the *Seaside Spray 1/4" Metallic Ribbon finishes off the card.
*New Products from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue, not available for sale until Sept. 4, 2019.

  1. This is such a pretty card Heather. I love how you made the snowflakes look so glittery and wintery. The blue is perfect for this card. I love how a non-traditional color can make such an elegant Christmas card.
