Peek-a-Boo Snowflake Card for Christmas Stamper's Dozen

Do you still give out Christmas cards? Do you still mail out Christmas cards? It seems like fewer people still do that. I wonder if this year will be any different? I still look forward to the ones I receive each Christmas, and it hasn't changed all that much. Of course I still love to make Christmas cards, so I love to share them with friends and family. That's why I still have things like Christmas Stamper's Dozen Classes. That's where you make 12 cards - three each of four designs!

Of course this year, it has to be an online class, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem with simple cards and all the die-cutting and embossing done for the class participants.

I wanted to share another sample from the class. This one includes the Snowflake Splendour Designer Series Paper with a large die cut snowflake in the front of the 4" x 4" front panel, with Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper peeking out from behind.

  • The Highland Heather cardstock card base is a good match for the watercolour-like DSP from the Snowflake Splendour series.
  • From the 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" panel the large snowflake die from the So Many Snowflakes Dies was used to cut a snowflake-shaped hole right in the middle of the DSP.
  • It was mounted over a 3 1/2" square piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper using Dimensionals.
  • The sentiment is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set but any long sentiment would do. It's stamped on the Balmy Blue banner using Balmy Blue ink.
  • Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems are added to the centers of a few snowflake designs on the front of the DSP to finish up.
This card is a simple one to do and would be good for mass-producing Christmas cards at home.
