Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2013!  I always look forward to new starts and new plans!  I don't make resolutions because I've not had a great track record at keeping them!  Tell me I'm not alone in this!

I wanted to wish all of my readers the very best for 2013!  May it be your happiest, healthiest and most prosperous year yet!

As promised, I have some blog candy to give away, to celebrate.  Celebrate the New Year, celebrate my birthday month, and to celebrate Stampin' Up's 25th Anniversary!  Woo hoo!  Big Party!  I have three packages of goodies to go.  (Only to readers who live in Canada, unfortunately, as I can only ship in Canada.)

Here's the prizes:  Third Prize:

An unopened pack of Noel Notes Simply Sent (pg. 17 in the Holiday Mini), a partially used pack of Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (pg. 20 in the Holiday Mini), and the Bold Snowflake Single Stamp.  The Festival of Prints stack still has 37 of the 48 sheets of double sided designs.

                             Second Prize:

Partial packs of Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations card stock (5 1/5 sheets and 9 1/2 sheets out of 12 sheets respectively) and an unused Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps Holiday Pack.

                         First Prize:

Now how are you entered in the draw??  You need to do 2 things.

1.  Leave a comment about your plans and expectations for 2013 right here on this blog post.

2.   Join my site.  See the little box in the right hand margin, that tells how many followers a blog  has?  Well, mine looks a little pathetic and embarrassing.  I know there are more of you who read my blog.  Do you think you could click on "Join this Site" and help to make it look respectable?  If you have already done that, then you just need to leave a comment.

I will draw 3 names on January 14th, when I get back from Leadership Conference in Orlando.  So you've got lots of time to leave a comment!  Looking forward to hearing from all of you.

  2. hi heather, ok, i will click on the join this site as i have not done it before. i am sure you are not alone in your resolutions....people try and generally fail....for me, that is why i do not make them.....however, this year is a first for me.....i have made one resolution...kind of a convoluted many part one, but it is all about looking in the mirror and liking what I see....right now, i do not, so my goal is to change that in a variety of ways....(details not necessary) this is a first resolution for me and i intend to follow through with it so give me a high five!! I am working more on my stamping and trying to learn more techniques and work a bit outside of my comfort zone....(you are an incentive for me...your style is amazing ). I also have a goal of creating some cute roomies gifts for july. And these are huge goals, so wish me luck.

    1. Holly, I resonate with a lot of what you are saying. High fives, high tens for you for your determination! You've definitely got what it takes! I think we all have to move out of our comfort zones in order to grow, and we can do it at any stage in our lives! I wish you everything you need to accomplish these wonderful goals!

  3. Here are my thoughts on making New Year's Resolutions: When I feel the need to change something in my life, it is because of promptings from the Holy Spirit. This happens at times other than December 31, so I'm not going to reply by saying, "Ok, Holy Spirit. That sounds good! Let me write that down and save it until New Years..." No. Isaiah 55:6 - we should seek Him while He may be found, right? When He says I need to change, I should reply, "Right away, Lord!" I made my last New Year's Resolution sometime in high school and haven't made one since. Only one I've ever kept! :)

  4. Ok well this year there are only 3 "resolutions" that I fully intend to keep.
    1-Smile more
    2-Worry less
    3-Forget fear-try something new

  5. I don't usually make New Years resolutions but this year I decided to make a New Year Goal. It is to dig out, sort out, organize and complete as many of my unfinished/partly planned projects (that are hiding out all around my house) as I can. I have already gotten a good start on the first one.
