Don't Just Pin It - Do It!

I have reams of pins on my Pinterest site and I have used a few of them, but there are many more that I haven't got around to doing yet.  Really, if I'm going to do all of them, I'm going to have to live a good deal longer than the average life span!  I can just hear me on my death bed..."I can't go yet,  I have a thousand more pins to try!"  Why can't I think up genius ideas like Pinterest?

But, in the interest of Pinterest, today's blog will be a pin that I actually used.  It is a great card idea, pinned from Cards by Cindy and here is the card she posted.  When I actually visited her blog, she said that she had cased the card from someone named Sherry, so this card is making the rounds.  I just thought it was so clever and elegant, so this was my take on it:

Isn't this the greatest idea?  You use the Word Window punch with Whisper White and Basic Black paper to make the piano keys and the Music Notes Stampin' Around Wheel for the sheet music.  (By the way, I don't think it's the score to Happy Birthday!  Has anyone ever tried to play this music on the piano?)
With a Cherry Cobbler bow from 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and an Antique Brad to set it off, it makes a "grand" (get it) birthday card! lol

I'm dying to order it and show you some projects.  My favourite is the Hydrangea, since I had to give up my Because I Care stamp last year!  But the little nosegay of flowers on the top right is beautiful as well.  I wonder how old that one is, because I don't remember it at all.
