The Beauty of the Season for Pals Paper Arts

Brrr! It's cold here today. I think fall is about over and we are ready to plunge into full-blown winter! I have to keep on reminding myself that every season has it's own beauty, even winter, although I'm not sure I could tell you what it is. Winter is right on time though because we usually get our first snowfall right around Remembrance Day, which is tomorrow. It's a shame though because our leaves have just barely had time to change colour. We have the most gorgeous Pacific Sunset Maple tree right in front of our kitchen window. When it changes colour, it almost glows, it's so beautiful. I have a photo for you, but it really doesn't do it justice at all. The camera doesn't begin to catch the luminescence of those fall colours.

Well, over at Pals Paper Arts this week, they have a colour challenge that is definitely a fall palette. So perhaps this will be my salute to a wonderful autumn this year.  It was warm and dry and completely enjoyable.  I am using my Beauty of the Season Stamp set again because it is my Stamp Set of the Month for those of you in my Stamp of the Month On-Line Club.  More on that later in this post.

Here is a better look at my card:

  • I love the earthy tones in this colour challenge. They have an artistic quality to them that I love. They definitely belong together!
  • I also made use of my Work of Art stamp set to create some backgrounds for my image and sentiment, both from Beauty of the Season.
  • The Banners Framelits helped to create those perfectly shaped flags at the top of the page.
I don't want to give away too much about the card as it is one of the samples you will get if you sign up to be in my Stamp of the Month On-Line Club this month.  There are still some openings.  I will need you to join by November 15th - Saturday!

Each month, I will feature a different stamp set from the brand new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. For $35 a month, every member will receive, in addition to the featured clear stamp set (or their choice of another of equal price if they already have the featured set or don't like it), three completed hand stamped cards using that stamp set, and three photo tutorials, complete with a list of materials needed and measurements so that you can duplicate these cards.  This will be for my Canadian customers only as I can't ship products to other countries due to Stampin' Up! regulations.

It's a great way to build up your supply of stamp sets plus get inspiration for making your own cards. You will also have private access to a special video tutorial channel for the occasional video tutorial using that set and access to a private Facebook group so that you can interact with other club members and myself.

November's Stamp Set of the Month is Beauty of the Season.

Here are the three sample cards you will receive:

You may start or stop at anytime, BUT if you commit to a term of 6 months, you will receive the hostess benefits from all the other Stamp of the Month Club orders during one of those 6 months. You will also earn a Papercraft Cat Customer Reward point each month. What a great way to get stamps AND the inspiration to use them!

If you live in another country, I can mail you the card samples and the photo tutorials for $15 CAD plus shipping costs, which would vary depending on where you live.  You would also have access to the Facebook Group and the video tutorials when they are available.

To join just click on Stamp of the Month On-Line Club in the top menu and fill out the info at the bottom of the page and submit it.

And, it's Tuesday, folks, and time for........
