The Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack appeals to me in some primitive way! I love the simple colour scheme of Whisper White, Tip Top Taupe and Basic Black and the animal prints are all so....designer, I guess! Anyway, as I searched for ideas for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made sketches this week, I instinctively (haha- get it?) turned to Go Wild for inspiration!
I think it fits this blocked sketch really well and it's so easy to match the DSP because the colour scheme is the same for them all. Then I had to find some images to go with it all. I decided it was time for Zoo Babies to grow up!
- Actually, the simple graphics of some of the Zoo Babies animals works really well with the Go Wild Designs without looking too childish and the DSP adds some sophistication to the simple images. The zebra works the best. I know, I know, I have a brown zebra - a rare mutant gene, I think! I hand-snipped them both and used some of my circle punches to create a backdrop for them so they would show up against the animal print.
- The sentiment is one of my favourites and is found in the Project Life Remember This Stamp set.
- The Linen Thread adds the perfect primitive touch to the project and there you have it!
I hope you will get yourself the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack. It now comes as 6 x 6 sheets so you can orient the pattern either horizontally or vertically without restrictions. You get 48 sheets in the stack, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs!
