Coffee Café for the Last Mojo Ever! And Product Shares

Mojo Monday was one of the first challenges I ever entered and it's seen me through many years as a stamper. I actually cringe when I look at my first entries! But the sketches in Mojo Monday provided me with inspiration and the knowledge of how to balance my designs and just a lot of fun. Even though it's been a little while since I last played, I am very sad to hear that this sketch will be the last one. It's their 500th sketch! That is really long lived for a challenge blog - close to 10 years! Wow! And I have a computer folder full of Julee Tilman's beautiful sketches, which I will no doubt continue to use for inspiration for years to come! So congratulations, Mojo Monday on reaching 500 and thank you for your contribution to papercrafting! Julee, I hope you find that precious time you need with your children! Here is the last Mojo Monday sketch:

My box of my first new Annual Catalogue order arrived on Thursday, but because of my Catalogue Launch on the weekend, I didn't get to open anything up and play with it until yesterday and guess which suite was the first one I dug into: The Coffee Break Suite, featuring the Coffee Café stamp set and the coordinating Coffee Cups Framelits, along with the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I turned the sketch on it's side so the long coffee cup would be oriented the right way.

• The background paper is the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, and this is actually 2 sides of the same sheet. The horizontal stripes or banners are cut from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and Early Espresso cardstock. The Coffee Break DSP shows up again on the coffee cup where I did some paper piecing, stamping the tall cup on both the Whisper White cardstock and another design of the Coffee Break DSP. I die cut the Whisper White one and fussy cut the DSP so it just fit inside.
• There is one framelit I just love. It creates a corrugated look for the cup wrapper. It's really hard to see in this photo, but the Crumb Cake piece on the front of the cup has a corrugated texture to it thanks to this framelit.
• The sentiment, "Life Happens, Coffee Helps", which I love, fits perfectly inside a framelit that you can use to cut a cup wrapper without the corrugation on it. I really wanted both that and the "Thanks a Latte" on my card, so I used the framelit to cut out the sentiment, but instead of putting it on the cup, just adhered it to the card front flat, where you see it.

One does not simply buy every spool of ribbon in the catalogue! One shares the purchase with three other people for more variety at a smaller cost!
