Carols of Christmas Card Front Builder for Freshly Made Sketches

I know! I know! Christmas in July is really pushing it! But Christmas starts early in the papercrafting world and we have a marvellous promotion or two on now that deals with this particular bundle, so I wanted to show you all the great things you can do with it! I don't want you to miss out on anything, you know! The bundle is called Carols of Christmas and has a great coordinating die set called Card Front Builder Thinlits, which I wanted to feature in this card. I'm using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches' latest challenge for the layout:

I'll show you what this bundle can do, and then I'll review the two promotions that involve this Carols of Christmas set.

  • I really love the frame you can make for your cards using one of the Card Front Builder Thinlits. It fits a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of cardstock, or foil in this case and you run it through the Big Shot twice, once at one end of the cardstock and once at the other end. I used it on a Copper Foil Sheet, which has been languishing in my cupboard for a while for some reason, and I love the effect, especially when paired with Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler.
  • I started with this frame sitting right on the Cherry Cobbler, but it just didn't show up enough against the dark Cherry Cobbler card base so I added a piece of Whisper White that measures slightly larger, 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". That really popped it to life.
  • I stamped the main sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. It's the perfect font for embossing letters, with the fancy details inside the letters looking like highlights.
  • The ornaments were stamped with Basic Black Archival ink on Copper Foil Sheets and then there are coordinating dies in the Card Front Builder Thinlits to die cut them, as there are for the leaves and the poinsettia you see under the sentiment. The poinsettia is also part of a corner cut-a-way die that can be used as part of a shaker card or just a corner embellishment.

  • I used a permanent marker to add the strings for the ornaments as I wanted them arranged differently than they are in the stamps.
  • The little banner under the sentiment square is from the challenge sketch and was die cut with a die from the Bunches of Banners Framelits.

So, the Carols of Christmas Bundle will be available for you to order in August! Meanwhile, you can help save up for that bundle in July, by stocking up on basics or taking care of your wishlist from the new Annual Catalogue and earning a $6 Bonus Days Coupon for every $60 you spend in July, which you can redeem only in August, and use, if you want, on this bundle! Or any other product from the current Catalogue, but this bundle will help give you a headstart on your Christmas greeting cards, as it is an Early Release from the up coming Holiday Catalogue which comes out in September.

The other promotion involving this Carols of Christmas stamp set is the Christmas in July recruiting promotion. If you decide to join my team, The Papercraft Cats, during the month of July only, Stampin' Up! will add an extra $94 in free products to the already great deal that you get in the Starter Kit, with no tax or shipping charges. For only $135, you get $165 worth of any products you choose from the Annual Catalogue, a free business package with catalogues and order forms, a free Paper Pumpkin kit and, for July only, a free Essentials Gift Pack worth $94, including the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set!! This is the time to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Be among the first to see the new Holiday Catalogue and be able to order from it a whole month earlier than the public! And then take advantage of 20% Demo discounts for at least 4 months on all your favourite Stampin' Up! products! Does that sound too good to be true? "What's the catch?" you ask. Well, honestly, there is none! You don't need to carry a risky inventory. You just need to make a minimum amount in sales in every quarter to keep your demonstrator status. If you don't, you just lose your status and that's it. Call or text me at 250-768-7379 to get more information. If you're ready to sign up, click Join My Team, and follow the prompts.
